My name is Heidi Cautrell.  I’m a writer.  I’ve created this blog as a means to communicate with others as I attempt to improve my writing and perhaps one day see it published.

I’m also a book lover.  My favorite genres are fantasy, science fiction and romance.  I’m always on the look out for a new book to devour.

I am the mother of a beautiful six-year-old daughter who is already showing signs of having an imagination bigger than my own.  I can only hope that I’m able to nurture and encourage her as I watch her grow to be  the beautiful woman I know she’ll be.

Though you wouldn’t suspect it, I’m also a girl gamer.  Nothing hardcore and I’m not always up on the latest and greatest video games, but I do love Role Playing Games and play them whenever possible.  If I could find a group in my area I’d likely attempt pen and paper RPGs as well.
